The time required to issue a Residence Permit is normally between 3 to 12 months, as all papers are sent to Norway for decision.

• Two Residence Permit forms duly filled in with two passport size photographs and photocopy of the passport attached.

• Sponsoring letter, including the sponsor’s Bank Statement

• Original "Guarantee form for visit" (obtained by sponsor from nearest Police station in Norway)

• Original Birth Certificate(s) of applicant and accompanying children

• Original Marriage Certificate

• Original Court Order(if applicant is divorced) OR Original Death Certificate of Spouse (if widow/er)

• Personal income/bank statement

• Travel Itinerary(do not purchase ticket until you receive information to the effect that permit will be granted)

• Two Residence Permit forms duly filled in with two passport size photographs and photocopy of the passport attached.

• Confirmation of payment of School fees(copy of payment receipt(pay order)

• Proof of financial support/scholarship during the study in Norway

• When the letter of acceptance from one of the Norwegian Universities is presented, visa application forms will be accepted and forwarded to Norway for final decision.
• Documentation of accommodation in Norway
• Original/certified birth certificate
• Original/certified marriage certificate(if applicable)
• Travel Itinerary(do not purchase ticket until you receive information to the effect that permit will be granted)

• Valid passport and photocopies of previous visas issued (and previous passports, if any)
• Contract of employment from Norwegian employer
• Original certificates supporting relevant field of employment

• Documentation of accommodation in Norway
