On September 25th 2014, world leaders met in New York to witness the launching of the new Millennium Development Goal (MDG) report: “Accelerating Action: Global Leaders on Challenges and Opportunities for MDG Achievement”. The Millennium Development Goals Advocacy Group, which prepared the report, comprises eminent personalities who have shown outstanding leadership in promoting and implementing the MDGs. Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solberg chairs the MDG Advocacy Group together with President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame.

From September 1st - 17th the Bangladeshi dance school Nrtiya Nandan and its Norwegian collaborator Rikskonsertene (Concerts Norway) will launch a project titled “Celebrating Life in Rhythm”. The purpose of the project is to raise awareness about cultural heritage and help Bangladeshi pupils build self-confidence through traditional dance.
