Five Norwegian teachers from the Christian high school are presently in Dhaka to teach and be taught at their sister school in Bangladesh.

On Tuesday the private co-educational Dhaka institution hosted a cultural afternoon with Ambassador Merete Lundemo as the guest of honor. In her speech Lundemo outlined Norway’s policies and priorities in Bangladesh. The principal Mitali Maria Costa thanked Norway for solid contribution to development in Bangladesh.

The students entertained the Norwegian guests, teachers and co-students with a show containing music, song, dance and fashion. The talents were many and the atmosphere warm. The star studded program illustrated the variety of the students from all communities. The college was founded six years ago and its mission is to give opportunities to students from minority backgrounds. The college has over two hundred students.
